It's been a very long time

Whoa, ooookay it's been rather a long time since I was on here last ooops lol!!!

Well quite a few things have changed for me since October, omg was that really the last time I was on here??? Lol!!!

I started working in Waitrose in November in the Petrol Station, I absolutely love it :) I only work part time at the mooment but they've given me a few extra hours cuz a few members of staff have buggered off elseware. Which is good news for me :-D

I also started doing volunteer wrk in October which sadly came to an end last week :(

Since my last post (yes I know it was agggessss ago) I have become a HUGE fan of Ice Hockey, one team in particular the Cardiff Devils woo!!! I went to quite a few games last season and made some new friends through it :)

Cant wait for the new season to start, only 4 weeks too go yay!!! *does happy dance* Sadly though, my fave player Mr Sylvain Deschatelets isn't coming back for the season :'( I am well gutted that I may never see him again. But on the plus side our team has some new and exciting players who hopefully will kick ass this season lol!!!!

Can't wait for Torchwood filming to start, hopefully we'll get to see some this year :)

Well think thats about all thats happened to me over the past few months *racks brains to thing of anything else* nope definately everything. :)

Ooooh Ooooooh I am also VERY excited as I have lots of shiny and exciting things happening soon :-D
I am going to CLF in October which is going to be great, I've got Kai's panto in December and then John's panto in January AND February next year :-D And I'm going to all of those with the two best mates a girl could have :)

Well I shall sign off now and hopefully will start posting when Torchwood start filming again which will be very soon :-D

Torchwood Filming - The Paget Rooms, Penarth 10/10/2007

Heard from the Security Guard the night before that Torchwood were filming outside The Paget Rooms from midday. So me and Kath decided to go in about 10.30 to watch them setting up. When we got there we met Iris :-D We waited around outside The Paget Rooms for a while taking various photos................

A man came out of The Paget Rooms and told us that filming wouldn't start until later on in the day, he also said that they were filming somewhere else in Penarth at that very moment. On hearing that, we decided to go and see if we could find them. We drove to the base to see what lorries and things were there. We drove round trying to find where they were filming but we had no luck. So we decided to go back to the base to use the public toilets that were there.
We decided to go for a drive around for a while as nothing much was happening at the base. We drove around Penarth for a while and were just about to go to Cardiff Bay when the lighting trucks passed us. We made our way back to the base to see if they had gone there, which they had.

We parked up round the corner from the base and just sat in the car for a while. All of a sudden one of the crew members came over to the car and knocked on the drivers window. He had come over to tell Kath that she had a flat tyre. She got out of the car to take a look at the tyre. and she did indeed have a flat tyre, she wasn't very impressed and kicked the tyre in anger splitting the wheel trim straight down the middle. At the same time who should drive past but John Barrowman. lol!! She was even more unimpressed now lol!!

Kath had to leave to take her car to the garage, so I decided to leave at that point also. We left Iris sitting in the park watching all of the comings and goings at the base. :-)
Got home about 2.30 and stayed in for a few hours.................................

............................Got back to Penarth at 7 o clock. I met Kath outside The Paget Rooms and we waited for Iris who was now with Caron :--)
Recieved a text from Iris saying that they had just passed Gareth in the SUV :-D yay SUV squeee!! lol!!
When Iris and Caron turned up, we decided to go around the corner where the SUV was parked. Apparently Gareth was sat in the passenger seat on his mobile phone lol!! We stayed and watched the SUV for a while then we moved back around the corner. At this point the fire truck had turned up along with Eve and Burn. They did some filming with Eve, Gareth and Burn inside The Paget Rooms for a while, then John Barrowman turned up. Looking his usual gorgeous self :-D
They filmed a scene with him getting out of the SUV and running into The Paget Rooms. They had the rain machine on at this point and the SUV was getting rather wet............

John got back into his car for a bit, while they took the SUV away :-( There were alot of kids watching with their parents all chanting John's name. He looked around and said "One second" in his beautiful accent. He turned back around and carried on doing whatever it was he was doing. He eventually came over to the kids, signing autographs for them and chatting with them. But then they called him for some more filming.

Once he had finished doing the little bit of filming, he came back over to us all and signed autographs for everyone........

Me and Kath got 2, a Torchwood one and a Doctor Who one. (We were cheeky lol!!) Kath also got her picture taken with John which she was happy about :-)

John got whisked away after signing autographs and having pictures taken to do some filming with the SUV. They filmed him driving it at top speed around the corner. During takes he was singing and laughing and joking with the rest of the cast, who were also sat in the SUV.
They filmed that scene a few times, then they took the SUV back to the base :-( Then John went away too :-( He said goodbye to the crew and told the rest of the cast that he loved them lol!!

They then filmed scenes with the rest of the cast which involved them running through the rain (they had the rain machine on - again!) to The Paget Rooms. They did the same scene a few times, and the cast got soaked - bless them! They wrapped at midnight - nice and early. Kath had some pictures to give Gareth, so she quickly ran over and gave them to him.

We left at 10 past 12 which was rather early for us. Hopefully more to report soon......................

Doctor Who Filming - British Gas Building, Churchill Way, Cardiff 09/10/2007

Heard that Doctor Who were filming outside the British Gas building on Churchill Way in Cardiff, so me and Kath decided that we'd go and see what was happening as Torchwood wearn't out filming anywhere. When we arrived there it looked as though the filming was in full flow. We found a Security Guard who just happened to be one of the ones we always see at the Torchwood filming. He told us that they were filming on the roof and that we wouldn't get to see anything.

We decided to go around the other side to see if we would have a bit of a glimpse at what was happening. When we got round there we found some people who were watching the filming - not that there was much to see. We stayed and chatted to them for a while and then we decided to move down a bit further. We saw a camera on the roof moving around and also whatever this thing was.....................

We also saw smoke coming from the roof so we figured that they had a smoke machine up there. We decided to stay and watch for a little while longer. Glad we did because we got a quick glimpse of David Tennant :-D
Not long after we had seen David Tennant, Kath turned round and said "There's John Barrowman driving his car" He stopped at the lights and I decided to take a closer look :-) with Kath in the background shouting "Em, come back" I just couldn't help myself. I get wayyyyyyyyyyyy too excited when I see John :-D

We stayed watching the roof (lol!) for a little while longer, then we heard that Torchwood were filming in Penarth, so we decided to go and investigate. Iris was with us at this point. :-D
So we got into Kath's car and headed for Penarth looking for the tell-tale signs along the way. Sadly Torchwood weren't filming :-(
All of the signs were there and all of the trailers were at their base, but no sign of any filming going on. We later found out that they were filming the next day from midday until midnight.

Had a good evening, got to see David Tennant even if he was on the roof of a building lol!! Also got to see John - well his car anyway lol!!! More filming soon................

Torchwood Filming - Penarth Marina/Barry Island 24/09/2007

Heard that Torchwood were filming in Penarth Marina so me and Kath decided to go and investigate. When we got there we saw Josie ans Sue walking along the road, so we stopped to have a chat to us. They said that all of the filming was indoors and that there wasn't anything to see. They also said that they had heard that Torchwood were going to be filming in Barry later in in the night. So me and Kath decided to come back to Barry to see if we could find any signs. When we got into Barry we decided to head down to the waterfront to see if there were any signs there as that is where they filmed before.

As we were driving along the waterfront road, we saw an RS sign on one of the lamp posts, so we decided to follow it. We followed all of the RS signs that we saw and we ended up in the car park of the old railway information centre. All that was there at this point was a security guard in his jeep and a lone lighting generator. Kath found it very funny that that was all that was there, it just looked odd.

We decided to make our way back to Penarth to see if they were still filming there. When we arrived we saw all of the crew vans so we parked the car and went to see if we could find them. When we eventually found them, our friend Iris was there with her friend Caron watching the filming. Couldn't really see anything as it was all indoors still, but we decided to hang around anyway. They finished the filming at 9 o clock, so we decided to leave. We saw Eve walk past us to her car and then all of the members of crew gradually started to move. At this point we also went, we got into the car and drove to the leisure centre where the Torchwood base was.

We decided to wait at the base until the vans move, then we would follow them to there location. We didn't have to wait for too long, as all of a sudden a fleet of cars moved. We knew that they were going to Barry, but we decided to stay behind them just in case. We followed them all the way to the base in Barry. We decided to see if we could find any signs pointing to where they were filming. I found the first sign, and was squeeing like a mad women lol!!! We followed all of the signs and we ended up over Barry Island.

We parked up by the beach, as they were filming in one of the cafe's by the arcades. We went and stood on the street corner where we would have a good view of the filming. They had already set everything up and were just finishing it off. All of a sudden one of the members of crew came over to us and started talking to us asking how we managed to find them, and if we had been to many of the filming's before. She was really niuce and stayed and chatted with us for a few minutes.

Not long after the women had left, she returned with the assistant director (James I think his name was) he asked us the same sort of questions the women did. Whilst they were talking to us, the runner (Bryn was his name I believe) brought us a cup of tea each. We were really shocked.

The only two cast members that were there were Eve and Tom Price (PC Andy). They were doing a scene inside one of the cafe's. Couldn't really see alot as it was all indoors. We ended up staying until the end though. They finished filming at 2 am which wasn't too bad.

Hopefully more soon, if we can find them.............................!!!

Torchwood Filming - Church off All Saints, Victoria Square, Penarth 22/09/2007

Found out from a friend that they were filming Torchwood in the Church of All Saints on Victoria Square in Penarth, so i texted Kath and told and a while later she came and picked me up and off we went into Penarth. When we got there we found out that the crew were on lunch, so we decided to have a walk into Penarth town centre to look around the shops. W looked around the shops for a while, but there wasn't really alot to see so we made our way back to where they were filming. Found our friends were already there and that thy had started getting ready to film. Here are my pics of the vans and things................

They filmed the same scene a few times. Then they went indoors at which point we decided to leave as we wouldn't be able to see anything. It was a good day, getting to see Eve was nice and also seeing Tom there as well.

Torchwood Filming - Bute Park, Cardiff 13/9/2007

Found out that Torchwood were filming in Bute Park, Cardiff so off we went to go and see. We got up there about half 6, which was good as it was still light. It didn't take us too long to find them as we just followed the noise. By the time we got there. they had already started filming, and our friends were already there watching. We stood there watching for a while then when they decided to have a bit of a break to set up some more of the scene we decided to move. We decided to walk back to the car to get our jackets, what a walk it was. Took us a while to get there as we had parked in the Civic centre. Once we had gotten our coats we made our way back to the park. When we got back to the park, they were still setting up for the next set of filming. They soon called for a rehearsal of the scene and we moved a bit closer so that we could see and also take a few photos. Here are the pics that I took:

They filmed the same scene for a while filming it from different angles. Then at about half 10 they decided to go for some lunch and resume filming after wards. We decided to leave because we found out that it was just going to be the exrtas and none of the main cast were going to be there.

Filming - not!!!!!!!

Someone had posted on the OG board that there mite be filming going on in Thornhill, so me and Kath decided to go and investigate. We got up there and there was no sign of any filming which was quite sad. So we decided to have a drive round near where JB lives.
So we drove past his place, and we were about to leave when I thought I saw John's driver Shaun coming out of the underground car park, so Kath turned around to see if it actually was him. By this time the person was no where to be seen. So we drove around the roundabout and pulled into St David's Hotel car park. Kath went to park up, when all of a sudden John's car drove past us and stopped meters away from where we were parked. Out he got with his two Spaniels. Awwww they were soooooooo cute!!!
Well, I got very very excited and I was squeeing rather loudly lol!! Kath was just sitting there sinking lower and lower into the drivers seat dying of embarrassment. Awww bless her!!
Kath decided to move the car, so that we had a better view of John. She parked up and I paid for the car park for 1 hour (only 50p, which is rather good I think!) While Kath was at the parking meter, I saw John look over at me. I'm pretty sure he recognized us. I mean we've been to enough of the filming for him to recognize us, were not that hard to forget lol!!!

Anyway, out the car we get and I was like "lets walk in that direction" pointing in the direction of John, and Kath was like "Uh I don't think so somehow, were going this way" so off in the opposite direction we hurried. We had a little walk around the bay, then we made our way back to the car. John was gone by the time we got back, which Kath was happy about. She could finally stop dying of embarrassment lol!!!

Got home about half 9, couldn't stop laughing all the way home, I found it really funny that we saw John, Kath didn't find it as funny as I did though. Hopefully more to report soon...............

Yay!!! I've got a job!!!

I start tomorrow!!! :-D I'm going to be working at Dow Corning as a Catering Assistant!! I'm so excited, but I'm also very very nervous. It's going to be really weird seeing as I haven't worked for a couple of months. I start at 8 o clock on Monday, but my usual shift will be 7am till 7pm Monday to Sunday. That's 12 hours a day 7 days a week. Moneys great though and I've worked out that I will be earning about £510 per week, I used to earn that a month when I worked in Morrisons lol!!!

This job is through an agency Abacus, which means that the job is only for 6 weeks, but they said that if I can prove that I can cope with all the hours and all the work, there could be a full time position in it which would be great!!! :-D OOOOOOOOOOOOOH I'm so excited I can't think of anymore to say!!! So I will say bye bye for now and I'll probably update this tomorrow after my first day yay!!!! :-D

My life................

............is really getting me down!! I've felt this way now for over a year, ok so I've never really talked about it or anything and maybe I should. I mean, this time last year, I was still working in Morrisons. I wasn't happy and things were spiraling out of control for me. I look back at my life and I don't feel that I've accomplished anything. Ok, so I know that I'm only 20 and I've got the rest of my life to accomplish things, but that's not really the point

I recently registered with Facebook and alot of people that I went to school with are on there. I look at there profiles and see that they've done so much since leaving school, and they have changed so much. Then I look at mine, and see the same person I was 4 years ago.

At the moment my life is stuck! I have no job, hardly any friends and I have no money! As some of you may know if you have read my previous blog, I suffered from depression at Christmas and I thought that I'd gotten over that once I'd quit Morrisons and got a different job, but now I have been out of a job for 4 months and keep feeling that I am never going to find a job and I am going to be like this for ever! I don't want to go back onto Anti-Depressants again, I didn't like them and felt worse while taking them!

When I left school, I had my life all mapped out. I thought that I'd go to college, pass my college course then get a really good job with really good money and that I'd be happy. But it didn't work out that way! I did go to college, did a 2 year course, didn't pass though. Ended up working in a dead end job which made me physically ill and had nearly all of my work mates hating me!

*Sigh* Think I've upset myself enough..............for know.

Torchwood filming - King George VII Avenue/Greyfriars Road, Cardiff 30/8/2007

Went to watch Torchwood filming again tonight. First of all they were filming on King George VII Avenue, but it was all indoors so we didn't really see much. The SUV was there though :-D They then packed up and moved back to base (Sophia Gardens), so we decided to follow them as they were going to a different location and we didn't have a clue where lol!!! We decided to go for a walk, so we parked the car on the main road and walked through Sophia Gardens. There lots of trailers in there, all with lights on, don't think anyone was in them yet though.

We walked through Sophia Gardens, went to the pub (we needed the toilet lol!!!) then back through Sophia, the Security man at the one end gave us very strange looks lol!!! We then decided to move the car to opposite Sophia so we would get a better view of the comings and goings of transport. The SUV turned up along with one of the Burnt Tree vans. We sat in the car and waited for a while, but we didn't really see much movement after that, so we decided to drive back to King George VII Avenue to see if the other vans/lorries were still there. Which they were!!!

We drove back to Sophia and parked up just by the entrance to the Gardens, which was perfect for viewing all the goings on. At about 12 am, John turned up in his Mercedes!! We had a bit of a wait till we saw any thing else happen. The first of the vans moved at around quarter to 1, so we decided to follow it. It drove to Greyfriars Road and down an alley way. We decided to park the car and go and find it!!

We walked down the alley which the van went down, and we found the SUV and a load of crew, and a Security guard. So we decided to hang around for a little bit to see what happened. John was already there along with Burn. They started filming round about half 1, they didn't have much to film only 3 scenes which was good news!!

We couldn't really see much where we were standing, so the security man told us to go round the other side, which we did. But we couldn't see any better round there either, and we also found out that we were in the shot lol!!! Trust us!!! So we decided to go back round the other side. We still couldn't see much, which was a shame. One of the members of crew, Andrew his name was, said that if we moved into the middle, we'd be able to see John. I was like yay!!! :-D Awww, Andrew was cute lol!!!

They then decided to change the angle at which they were shooting, which meant we had to move again!! So we went round the other side once more. We could see a little better from here, we saw Weevils!!!! The filming was over rather quickly, and they were finished by 3 am.

Got home about half 3, which was good, nice and early :D

Torchwood Filming - Maindy Road, Cardiff 28/8/2007

Me and Kath were on our way home from Cardiff Bay when we saw the familiar 'RS' signs. So we decided to follow them. Well.........I was keeping my beady eyes open and yelling "There's a sign" every so often at her. lol!!!! She kept saying "I'm in the wrong lane" It was rather funny lol!!! We got there about quarter to 10, and decided to go for a little walk. So we went for a walk around the block. Once we'd walked around the block, we decided to move the car to the opposite side of the road, right opposite where they were all filming.

Shooting was inside but you could see almost everything going on that they were doing through the doors. Burn and Naoko were the only ones there filming with a little boy. They had a break sometime around 12am then Eve turned up and John not long after.

Poor John looked absoultely knackered, though he did perk up a bit after they were waiting to set up. They had only been in the building minutes when the fire alarm went off, so the crew told everyone to evacuate the building, and John said "It wasn't me" to which I replied "Don't lie John, it was you". He must have thought I was a right weirdo lol!!!! Eve then pipped up "It wasn't me, honest" They finally let everyone back in about 5 minutes later. While the crew were still setting up, John and Eve were messing around, dancing and playing with the various props, it was really funny to watch. Here are some of the pics tat I took.......

They filmed more scenes which were great to watch. At one point, John had something stuck on the back of his greatcoat, no idea what it was, but it made us laugh lol!!! Every time they had to re-set, John was texting on his phone. I swear it was glued to him lol!!! They finished filming scenes with Eve John and Burn, so they told John and Eve that they could go for 45 minutes because they just wanted to film with Burn and Naoko. Eve came out, slowly followed by John, who was on his phone. Kath very nicely opened the doors for him. He didn't say anything though, was too engrossed in his convo lol!!! John left to go back to his trailer while he waited for them to call him back. I got my picture taken with Eve :D She was really nice. Here is my pic with her...........

Torchwood Filming - Cardiff Bay 21/8/2007

Went to watch Torchwood filming again last night. I had a tip off from a friend that they would be filming down there. So me and Kath got in the car and drove down to the bay. We got down there about half 8. We couldn't see anything there so we decided to drive around for a little while. Couldn't really see anything driving around, so we decided to park the car and go for a walk. We walked around the bay for a while, taking in all the sights. At about quarter to 10, a Burnt Tree van appeared by the Plas. They started to set up some equipment, then another van turned up. Once they'd set up all their relevant equipment, they got back into there vans and drove off. Not long after they had gone, the SUV pulled up :D

As there wasn't anything to see, we decided to go for another walk. We walked around the block, and saw John's trailer parked in a lay bay. At this point, we had music on and were singing rather loudly lol!!! Thank god he wasn't in it!! We walked around quite a few times during the course of the evening. We were getting rather bored waiting lol!!! We sat in the car a few times, listening to music. At about half 1, Kath decided to move the car, so that we would be closer to where they were filming.

At half 2, some cars and vans finally turned up. not long after, most of the cast turned up as well. Gareth, Eve, Burn, John and Freema all got out of their cars and gathered in a little group to reherse their lines. It was nice to see nearly all of the cast. It was a shame Naoko wasn't there, as I haven't really seen her. After a while, the crew shouted that they wanted to reherse the scene. So in came the SUV. John was singing and clapping again. lol!!! How he can be in such a cheerfull mood at that time in the morning is beyond me lol!!! I'm sure they put something in his food haha!!!

They did a few reheresals of the scene, then they decided to go for a take. It was really exciting watching them all. Once they had done a take of the scene, they stopped to have something to eat. Gareth came by, and Kath wanted him to sign some pics that she had of him, but unfortunately by the time she got to him, he had started eating.

Not long after that, they all went to John's trailer for a little bit. Kath managed to get Eve (Gwen) to sign the cover of her audio book. Eve was really nice and she said "hello" to us and waved and smiled. They soon all came back from the trailer, and Kath managed to then get John to sign the cover of her audio book. I'm so gutted that I didn't take anything with me for him to sign. :(

After a while, they went back to do a few more takes. Not really much to tell about the scene. Don't really want to give anything away!! lol!!! :P
We watched them do lots of different bits of the one scene, then they finally finished at 5 am. I really wanted my pic taken with John, so when he came near me I asked him. He said "Ok, but hurry cos I wanna go home" I was like awwwwwwwww!!! Once my pic had been taken I said thank you and he smiled and got in his car. Heres my pic......

We left at ten past 5 and I got hom at half 5 and went straight to bed. So very tired lol!!! More soon.........

Torchwood Filming - NCP Car Park, Wood Street, Cardiff 20/8/07

Went to watch Torchwood filming again last night.. They were filming in and around the NCP Car Park on Wood Street. We found out that they were going to start setting up around about 5 ish. I met Kath in town with her mum about 1:30 and we went and looked around the shops for a while. Didn't really buy much. We had tea in MacDonalds at about half 4. We got up to the car at around 5 past 5, couldn't see any sign of any film equipment or anything, so we were getting rather worried (or should I say I was lol!!). We decided to sit down on one of the benches for a while to see if we could see anything happening. At about half 5 we saw a Burnt Tree van arrive and thought 'this is it!!' We watched them setting up all their equipment. I took some pics of the vans and things......

Not long after the fire truck went into the car park, John Barowman turned up in his Merc. He had Burn in the passanger seat. As he was driving past us all, John waved and smiled!! :D
It took them a while to set everything up, and by the time they'd finished it was about half 8. By this time the sun was setting, and the sky had turned a lovely red colour......

When they were finally ready to statrt filming, they were on the 4th level of the car park. So me and Kath stood on the railings to see if we could see any better. All we could really see were sillhouets of people lol!! Although we did hear John singing and clapping a few times, I could just imagine him dancing up there as well lol!!!

We watched them filming on the 4th floor of the car park for a while, and then they moved to the top 5th floor. We couldn't really see much, so we decided to go for a walk. We went int the car park, and found the SUV.....

We stayed in the car park for a while, as it was nice and warm and it was getting rather cold outside. When we went back outside, they were still filming on the 5th floor, so we couldn't really see anything, but every now and then we could hear John shouting "Owen" at the top of his voice. lol!!!! After a while, we decided to go for another walk as there wasn't really anything to see. We walked around the side of the car park, where the fire truck was parked. Kath decided to take a few pics of it. I was texting on my phone., minding my own business when all of a sudden I heard "Owen" being shouted from the roof. i bloody jumped a mile. Kath thought it was well funny lol!!! We went back into the car park cos it was nice and warm in there. We stayed in the car park for quite a while. Me and Kath sat down on the wall that was opposite where the cars come down from the levels above. After what seemed like forever, John's car came down the ramp. He was chatting to the security guard who was letting him out through the barrier and John said "I'll be back" in an Arnie voice, it was soooooo funny lol!!!! :D

Not long after John had gone, Burn came out of the lift with some people, he didn't look very happy bless him!!!! Once Burn had gone, we decided to go and see where he had gone, but he'd gone into a trailer and we couldn't see him :( We walked around for a bit, but then decided to go back into the car park. We were sat in the car park mining our business, when 3 weevils came out of the lift with two of the crew. It was quite funny seeing weevils walking round lol!!!! Not long after they'd gone, a lone weevil came out of the life looking for the other weevils, he looked a bit lost a very confused. So I said "They went that way" pointing out towards the barrier, and he said "Which way?" and me and Kath were like "that way!" As soon as he'd gone, we burst out laughing. We couldn't stop laughing for ages lol!!! Was sooooo funny!!!

After a while John came back in his Merc! :D He went back up to the level that he came down earlier. We thought that we'd wait around in the car park, seeing as it was much much warmer than outside. Every so often some of the crew came out from the lifts carrying various bits of equipment, which was a sign that they were nearly finished. We'd heard earlier that they were moving onto to Greyfriars Road. So we decided to hang around in the car park until John left, then we'd know that they were on there way to the next location.

After what seemed like forever, and seeing crew coming and going like yo-yos, John came back down with Burn which was a sign that they were off to the next location. Me and Kath were standing right by the ramp where the car came down, I nearly got my feet run over by John lol!!! I looked through the window at him and smiled and he smiled so I waved and he waved back :D :D Was soooooooo happy about that hehe!!!! :D :D

Me and Kath legged to the car so that we could go to the next location. John and Burn had gone into a caravan that was parked on the pavement by where we were standing at the beginning. We decided to make a move to Grayfriars Road so that we could get there before everyone else. Didn't really work out that way!! lol!!! We went round, driving at a fast speed to try and get there fast. We'd stopped at a bus stop to see if we could see John drive past us. All of a sudden we saw him emerging from St Mary's Street. (Which is blocked off, only buses and taxis are aloud down there.) HE CHEATED!!

Anyway, we found somewhere to park, so we decided to have a wander round to see if we could see anything. We walked down an alley way and around the back of some of the clubs, and we found them setting up for a shoot. in a lane, John and Burn were already there. They started filming at about quarter to 4. Kath was to make sure ain work today, so we had to make sure we left at quarter past 4 at the latest. We watched them do a rehersal of the scene, it was very good. Took quite a few pics.......

Torchwood Filming - Church Raod, Whitchurch 5/8/2007

Went to watch Torchwood filming again tonight, I had heard from someone that they would be filming on Church Road in Whitchurch. :-) So I told Kath, and off we went at 7:30. We arrived there about 8 o clock and could see that they were starting to set up for the filming later on in the night. So we parked the car and made our way to the pub which was on the same street that they were setting up the filming, so we had a good clear view of everything that was going on.

We sat outside the pub for a few hours, watching the crew as they put the finishing touches to the set. It was starting to look really good. Quite a few people had gathered outside the pub by now watching all the goings on hoping to see some of the TW cast. :-D

Suddenly, a red sports car turned up and parked on the opposite side of the road. We thought they must be using it in the filming. The pub was closing, so we moved from our seats and went and stood just by the wall outside the pub.

They started filming at around 11:30. They asked everyone who was standing outside or near the pub to move onto the opposite side of the road so that we wouldn't be in the way of the filming. So we all moved over to the opposite side of the street, We still had quite a good view.

The first shoot was of a fish monster alien thing (lol!!) driving the red sports car! When everyone saw the fish monster, they couldn't stop laughing, it was so funny lol!!! :-) The fish monster had to drive the car at a very fast speed along the road and then stop abruptly at the pelican crossing for an elderly lady to cross the pelican crossing, then it sped off up the road in front of where we were all standing!!

They did this scene a few thousand times lol!!! (only joking, but it did seem like it at the time! Once they were happy with everything they then brought the SUV out!!

At first, they just had one of the crew driving it around, which was a bit disappointing as we thought that maybe one of the cast would be driving it. But, we found out that he was just testing the roads and also getting it in the right place.

After a while they called Gareth (Ianto), Burn (Owen) Naoko (Toshiko) and Eve (Gwen) to the set. They got Burn and Gareth to do a scene in the SUV with Burn driving and Gareth in the passenger seat chasing after the fish alien in the sports car!

Then they swapped over and had Naoko in the passenger seat, still with Burn driving. Each time the SUV went up the street and then came back down the opposite direction, they swapped over the passengers. Eve was the final person to be sat in it. No sign of John though! :-(

Once the crew had the shots that they needed, they told Burn, Gareth and Naoko that they could leave. They stayed around for a little bit signing autographs and having photos taken with people.

Kath wanted her pic taken with Gareth, but unfortunately he had to leave. I wanted my pic taken with Burn, but by the time I got there, he had to leave also :-(

They did one final scene with Eve, then they called a wrap at 3 am.

Me and Kath were glad to leave as our backs and our feet were hurting and we were very tired. It was great seeing the other members of the cast. Just a shame we couldn't get any pics of them :-( Never mind maybe next time :-)

Torchwood Filming - Churchill Way, Cardiff 25/7/2007

It was an ordinary Wednesday, I went to Line Dancing at 8 PM. While I was there Kath told me that she was going into Cardiff to see if they were filming Torchwood because she heard on the Internet that they were filming out on Churchill Way. So I was like 'Oh Oh can I come??' and she agreed :-)
So when Line Dancing finished, we got in the car and set off for Cardiff. We arrived there about twenty past nine and by the time we managed to find somewhere to park the car it was half nine.
So we walked around for a bit, and then we finally saw some of the Torchwood crew with some filming equipment. So we decided to hang around there for a bit. Not alot was happening so we decided to move down a bit from where we were standing to see if we could see any better. Very glad we did, cos as we were on the move, the man himself John Barrowman was on his way to his car (which we just happened to be inches away from :-)) Behind him, much to Kath's delight was James Marsters. John sped off in his car, and James went off somewhere also.
Well, by now we were all excited, especially me, I was bouncing around like a looney lol!!! :-D
We stayed in the same places and got talking to two girls from the USA. They were really nice and chatty. So we were all there watching the film crew set up for a stunt. (I wont give anything away.) While we were watching them set it all up, John returned in his car. He sat in his car for quite a while, watching them set up the stunt. Then after about 10 minutes, he decided to get out of his car and walk over to the film crew. Well, I got all excited, (even more than I already was) I just couldn't believe that I was seeing John Barrowman in the flesh. It was great!!!!
Anyway, the stunt was finally all set up, and it was time for it to be filmed. So one of the film crew members came over and asked everyone to please be quiet and to refrain from talking any flash photography. The stunt didn't last very long, they only took two takes, but it was really good. (Can't wait to see the finished product next year.)
Once the stunt was over, me and Kath decided to move from the spot where we were standing, as everyone had gone over onto the other side of the road, so we followed. I managed to stand right behind John which was fab!!!
By this time, I was practically glowing with excitement, Kath had to keep restraining me from getting to over excited. :-D
Soon after the stunt was over, Gareth David Lloyd appeared and Kath just had to go over and talk to him. Man that girls got some guts lol!!!
After the crew had got all of their equipment packed away, John decided to go inside. As soon as John went inside, who should walk past, but James Marsters, well Kath couldn't help herself and she called out "Hi James" to which he replied "Hi" turning round to see where the voice had came from, he did a double take and said "Oh Hi, how are you?" Kath was in shock, she couldn't believe that James had recognized her. She was hyper then for the rest of the night!!
After that, everything went a bit quiet, there weren't many people left in fact, there were only 6 of us left lol!! We were all just standing around talking and taking pictures of various things, when GDL came over, and as he could see we were talking pics, asked if anyone wanted a pic taken with him. Well........everyone's hand went up (bet he wish he's never asked lol!!!)
A little while after the TW SUV turned up. My god it is fab. I no its only a car, but its great. :-)
After a while, they called GDL over to have some scenes taken with the SUV. Man, he drove it fast lol!!! They did a few scenes with GDL getting into the SUV and driving away, then they took it away :-( and GDL went inside.
Then John's trailer turned up, (its rather big :-D) He always likes to have his trailer there, even if he doesn't use it!!
After a while, GDL came back out, dressed in casual clothes. He said Goodbye to us all and waved, which was rather nice.
We could see that John and James were filming on the roof, so we decided to wait around. The security guards told us that they were due to finish filming at 4am, so we decided to wait around until then. Unfortunately it started to rain, but luckily Kath had a brolly. (she was equipped for everything that girl!)
4am rolled around, after what seemed like hours of waiting, they called a rap on the filming, and everyone slowly started coming out of the building. John legged it off to his trailer to get some sleep.
Suddenly James appeared and Kath went over to see if she could have her pic taken with him. He gladly obliged, and she had two pics taken with him. Which she was rather happy about!!
Then we left, not long after 4:15. There were 3 of us in the car, Kath driving, a German women called Iris whom we had met and were giving a lift to, and me in the back. Quite glad I was sat in the back, coz we stopped at the lights, and I was looking around to see if I could see anyone, and then suddenly, John appeared in the doorway of his trailer, in just his underpants. Well, I just had to tell Kath, when she saw she couldn't stop laughing. None of us could, we were laughing all the way home, and Kath was finding it rather hard to drive lol!!!!
Got home about 4:40am, felt a bit sorry for Kath though as she was in work at 6am, but she said she's be fine.

The best part of the whole night???? Defiantly seeing John Barrowman in his undies, ill never forget that moment ever!!!!! :-D
